FOR MY SHADOW PROJECT
Girl in a Box
For our light picture, we decided to to show that lights can be related to darkness- no pun intended- the girl in the box is frightened, but you are unable to tell because of the light, swallowing her up, she just looks like she's part of the evil and destruction. We created this to symbolize that things aren't always what they seem.
Statue Of "Snow"-berty
While making the snow sculptures My group, Mac, Lucas, and I, decided to add a living element, me! after standing on snow we decided to do a play on the statue of liberty. Thus, the statue of "snow"-berty was born.
Self Portrait

This is the self portrait I made out of homemade play-dough! I used a needle to carve the eyes and I took several thin pieces of the play-dough to create the affect of strands of hair. For the head, the neck, the torso, and the limbs, I molded each specific part to its correct length and width.
My group took this picture by dropping vegetables into a tank of water, the hardest part was knowing the right timing with dropping the peppers and taking the picture at the correct time. We liked the concept and the affect of the peppers plunging into the water.
